Le otto specie oggi note di questo genere sono state reperite nella mwdgregione paleartica: la specie dall'mwdwareale più vasto è la mweaP. pinicola, rinvenuta in svariate località dell'intera regionecite-ref-linyphiidae-1-0[1].

Per la determinazione delle caratteristiche della mwgaspecie tipo sono tenute in considerazione le analisi sugli esemplari di mwgqLepthyphantes pinicola mwggSimon, 1884cite-ref-linyphiidae-1-1[1].

Dal 2004 non sono stati esaminati esemplari di questo generecite-ref-linyphiidae-1-2[1].
